I found this cast iron teapot more user friendly than ceramic teapots. It spreads heat throughout the tea and keeps it warmer for long. It actually saves my time when I am busy working; I don’t have to get up in the middle of work to reheat my tea. It is also beautifully designed and looks artistic.

I was initiated into this site by a friend of mine. While browsing through the products I came across this unique looking tea pot with two mugs made of cast iron. The self patterned teapot set is just so beautiful. I got it to gift a friend but landed up keeping it for my home. You will simply love to own it!

I can promise that brewing tea in this unusual teapot, or testubin, as it is called in Japan, brings out an undiscovered, yet interesting taste nuance from your regular teas. I brewed my regular Assam in this teapot and I must say I was happily surprised by the distinct flavor it brought in the tea. It is my favorite tea set when I want to share tea with someone special, just the two of us!

After using this beautiful cast iron teapot from Japan, I was surprised to find that it retained the heat well because it is built from sturdy cast iron. The tea remained for long hours. I have come to know that in Japan this cast iron teapot is known as “tetsubin”. It will be a rare beauty while serving your tea before your guests.
