Darjeeling Avongrove Castleton Estate Organic FTGFOP-1

Darjeeling tea has often been called the “champagne of tea,” and has traditionally been prized in the UK and other European countries above all other black teas. Darjeeling tea is grown only in the Darjeeling region of West Bengal, India. Darjeeling first flush been harvested at a specific time, immediately following spring rains.

The tea has a lighter, greenish color and is much milder than most black teas, with a classic first flush character. Avongrove Estate first flush Darjeeling teas are sweet and have little bitterness or astrigency.

I like the taste of this beautifully packaged tea from Darjeeling because it offers delicate flavor and is a perfect choice for an afternoon tea. I like its flavor without adding milk or cream, but most of the people prefer taking this tea with milk or cream also. If you are a fan of Darjeeling tea – do try this one as well!
