I loved this dark red healthy drink. We used it the whole summer as iced tea, but couple of days ago we added it in to our black tea and it really gave it a nice taste.

I had a heard a great deal about the many health benefits of this tea, and finally decided to give it a try. I spoilt my first brew as I brewed it in a metal container. It was my second brew, which I made in china tea pot which introduced me to the real “karkade”. The tea has a refreshing sweet and sour taste with a hint of cranberries. It has a pleasant citrus note which combines perfectly with sugar or honey.

This red tea simply takes your breath away. Later I found that they were dried petals of the hibiscus flower. Not sure whether I should call it tea, but it is very rich in taste and flavor. It works as a great sweet and cold beverage if infused with honey and a tinge of line to it. You can actually give it to your children for the summer days. It feels refreshing and is very cooling on the system.
