If you thought Jasmine teas smell a bit too heavily like a perfume, this particular blend will change your perception. Also known as the “Champagne of jasmine tea” it is produced from exceptionally high quality harvest which offers a sensuous delight. This delicate and refined blend of fresh jasmine flowers and green tea has an extremely pleasing aroma. The flowers are carefully removed by hand which prevents the tea from turning bitter, and you only get a profusion of tips. Just three minutes of infusion would allow the jasmine bouquet to bloom fully and release its subtle flavour and mildly floral fragrance. It is just slightly astringent with a clean “green” taste.

True to its claim, it is definitely very good jasmine scented tea. The jasmine aroma lingers teasingly, without being too overwhelming at any point. I served the tea to my guests and it felt like sitting beside a mild jasmine bouquet!-a perfect drink for a special get together.

Primatea’s Jasmine chueng feng tea was just the right sample for me to get the other day. I have been sipping on jasmine green teas for many years now and they have always been winners with me. The leaves in the sample were olive green and darker with some lighter leaves. I also noticed a few jasmine petals here and there. Medium length in size, the leaves emit a pleasant jasmine scent which is sure to attract you towards it. After brewing, I found its taste just what I expected it to be. Now I only crave for this tea and I want a cup of it in the morning and in the afternoon.
