It fits nicely on normal sized cups and mugs, though I had to be a little careful while using it on large mugs. It also fits very nicely on teapot opening. It has a very fine mesh and sieves out the finest tea leaves as well. I swing the strainer over the drip bowl after straining tea to collect any remaining drops. It really helps me make loose tea conveniently without any mess on my kitchen counter.

It’s made up of quality heavyweight steel and I have been using it for over four months now. The polish hasn’t come off and it has retained its shape inspite of heavy use. Its drip bowl is also very useful; it eliminates all the mess on my kitchen counter and table top.

It is quite a sturdy stainless steel strainer. I had a china strainer before but this one is strong and can withstand repeated use. It is very well designed- just the right width and depth to settle on top of the cup. It can catch even the tiniest tea leaves and filters a clean cup of tea.

It turned out to be a small but useful purchase. This strainer has just the right diameter and I could fit it perfectly on the top of my cup. It is adequately deep and broad, and the tea leaves don’t spill out. It came with a handy drip bowl which works equally good.
